Circus for Arts in the Schools, led by Jeff Raz of Cirque du Soleil and Pickle Family Circus fame, produces an annual benefit Circus to raise money for arts education in the Alameda public schools. Each year Raz assembles a cast of world-class acrobats, clowns, jugglers, musicians and more to perform in Alameda.

Because the performers donate their time to put on the Circus and parent volunteers provide all the administrative and organizational support to produce the show, all proceeds from the Circus, go directly to funding arts education and to offsetting the minimal costs of producing the show.
